Vans Vault Mid Skool 77 LX

DQM released two interesting silhouettes from VANS Vault today: the Mid Skool ’77, and the Priz Laced. The ’77 has a decidedly old school feel, with a wrinkled leather upper and colorways straight out of the 1970′s. And while turning to a vintage aesthetic for inspiration is nothing new, Vans shows it has the decades of experience to do it right. The Priz Laced, while less “vintage,” is a timeless classic. It’s a slightly more constructed shoe than it’s counterparts, like the Classic or Era, but maintains the simplicity that is a core strength of Vans. The Priz combines a gum rubber sole, with a bone white canvas upper, finished off by brass eyelets, round laces, and a tonal Vans tag. Both great Summer options, and both available from DQM.
