Located in Bologna, Italy, Enrico Iascone Architects have created a remarkable guest house set against an audience of oak, maple and ash trees. The two-floor structure crafted of wood takes advantage of its surroundings – utilizing a large primary window on the ground floor and sporadic slices that seem to intermittently pepper the structure. Aimed to enhance the surroundings rather than overpower it, Enrico Iascone Architects have achieved a rustic domicile with contemporary characteristics. |
