{Dope Crib's} Emasies House on Andros Island by klab architects

It’s no small technical feat for an architect to design sound structures atop the rocky coastlines surrounding Greece, but klab architects have risen to the challenge with this unique house on Andros Island. Culling inspiration from ancient Greek monasteries, the predominantly whitewashed residence is nestled into the lush, protective hillside, and surrounded by its satellite structures forming a perimeter that looks out over the sea. Impressively enough, the firm managed to complete the structure to comply with all local building ordinances, while still preserving its distinctly quaint, yet contemporary and neoclassical character.
