VANS – Since 66 | Video {Van Doren}

From just one factory in California, VANS began its humble life in 1966 by its founder, Paul Van Doren. The brand quickly grew in popularity alongside the skateboard movement, which was also taking traction. VANS have been behind skateboarding since day one, and have sponsored and supported countless skateboarders and events in US and all over the world. The core values of VANS lies in the attitude of Van Doren, who have been quoted as saying, it was never about waving around the brand like a flag. It was always about the people. His values are still alive and well today in the company, and to commemorate the legacy of the brand, Off The Wall TV produced this short film to show how VANS have touched different individuals’ lives.
