| Only on a few rare occasions in the past has Nike attempted a collaboration with multiple parties and Tom Sachs‘ SPACE MISSION: MARS was just such. Staffers at the exhibition, currently ongoing in New York City, received a pairs of special Cole Haan brogue wingtip shoes. But not just any wingtips, these are specifically made for the event and features pebble grain leather with a subtle trace of the Nike Swoosh on the side. Embedded on the leather outsole were rubber portions in the forms of the Nike Waffle treads as well. In the meantime, Tom Sachs’ SPACE MISSION: MARS exhibition along with his NIKECraft Collection are open to public starting today at the Park Avenue Armory.
