{Dope Crib's} AA House By OAB
The Office of Architecture Barcelona (OAB) has just recently completed work on an impressive project that is just as much a living space as it is a geometric instrument. Each aspect of the structure maintains a vertically consistent relationship, with each floor completing a certain semblance of three-dimensional continuity throughout the compound. This is evident in the diagonals which serve as a roof system, as well as the distinct visual connection of glasswork, trellises and sliding panels between each of the base floor spaces. And in case it looks too much like a cutout, the two-story AA house is still fully functional, containing living spaces, a library, dining rooms, a kitchen, guest rooms, and a number of amenities like a Turkish bath and an indoor swimming pool. You can check out the full photo set of the AA House via CONTEMPORIST.
