The topic of Banksy's latest piece of work follows up the celebration of Her Majesty’s Diamond Jubilee with the Bristol based artist sourcing his inspiration from David Bowie. Located on Upper Maudlin St. near the Bristol Children’s Hospital, the piece features Queen Elizabeth II in the signature black and white while a colorful red and blue lightning bolt stroked across her face resembles David Bowie’s “Aladdin Sane” from the 1970s. Thanks to Daily Mirror for the info. |
