{Adidas Originals x Jeremy Scott “Shackle” Sneaker Aborted}

Sportswear brand adidas have withdrawn plans to produce a pair of sneakers with shackle-like ankle cuffs, following complaints that they represent a symbol of slavery. The JS Roundhouse Mids were designed in collaboration with fashion designer Jeremy Scott and attracted criticism when previewed on adidas' Facebook page last week. All politics aside, they're actually a pretty fresh pair of kicks - but we can't have slavery brought into the mix, especially when it's still a problem worldwide. What do you think?
