Goes to show you how fluid the situation is in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, NBA officials announced this afternoon that they are postponing tomorrow’s historical showdown between New York Knicks andBrooklyn Nets. The decision came only a day after the association resiliently declared the game to go onin spite of power outage and mass transit disruption. Not only was it the season opener for both teams, it was the first official game for the newly minted Brooklyn Nets within its brand new home stadium, theBarclays Center.
