Jay-Z Rides the Subway Train to Final Barclays Concert (Photos)

Leave the Maybach’s at home and buy a Metrocard. That’s what Jay-Z did on Saturday afternoon before his last of eight shows at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The BK-born MC was spotted walking into the Canal Street station in Manhattan and caught the R train to his destination of Atlantic Avenue, where the new billion-dollar arena is located. For precautions Hov wasn’t alone as plain-clothed NYPD and his personal security followed him. Of course the moment caused pandemonium as fans snapped photos, even some following him on the train ride to the busiest area of Brooklyn. In the past, Jay-Z spoke on wanting to take the train to one of his Yankee Stadium shows in 2010. On Saturday he finally got the chance, to his own arena
