Damir Doma Autumn/Winter 2012 Footwear

Damir Doma's consistently forward-thinking eye for design transfers to his Autumn/Winter 2012 footwear collection, which offers a wide range of styles for fans of his aesthetic. Starting with sneakers, we see three variations of a mid-height silhouette - the zebra-striped Faso and the Falco in both python leather and an almost gladiatorial cow hide version in jet black. These all sit on a black composite sole. with branding embossed at the heel. Boots have been made high. The Feon style is the closest we've got to a classic military style silhouette, with an Oxford construction that fastens with black cord lace through twelve eyelets and two leather belt straps that fasten at the back. The Fandus boots seem to be based on a motorcycle style, crafted from soft, black leather with a wide opening and reinforced leather panels at the front upper, heel and calf. The Fotur boots are perhaps the most outlandish of the bunch - like the Fandus they sit on a slightly raised sole but reach higher up the calf, with an upper crafted from soft, brown leather panels and a body which is made from a cream and brown striped textile fabric. Finally, the Febris Leather Oxford Shoes, which are almost a low cut version of the Feon, with an Oxford construction and leather strap at the heel.
