Deadline 2012 Holiday Lookbook





Combining the founders’ East and West Coast sensibilities, JUNBUG and NA present Deadline‘s Holiday 2012 lookbook. Shot by photographer Akira Ruiz at Milk Studios in Los Angeles, the lookbook features modeling by Deadline’s own Spoety and Seiko alongside Robert of Odd Future and highlights the brand’s latest graphic tees, hoodies, caps, beanies and more with Deadline branding figuring prominently throughout. Supreme x Champion Parka and Crewneck



Supreme dropped an new release this morning. The crewneck sports stars all over and the hooded parka zip jackets come in the 4 colors green, navy, orange and black, featuring striped rib cuffs and waistband. Both styles show the Champion logo stichted on in the front and the parka features the signature Supreme lettering on the back.

Givenchy Men’s Pre-Fall 2013 Lookbook – The Dogs Are Back





For Pre-Fall 2013, Givenchy brings back their famed dog prints, this time replacing the snarling Rottweilers with some equally intimidating Dobermans. While the canines will be an obvious hit for the brand, other pieces such as leather-paneled puffers and the PERVERT printed shirt are sure to draw attention. Combining his signature dark aesthetic and streetwear elements into an haute couture package, newly-appointed GQ Designer of the YearRiccardo Tisci, has released this Leather & Quilted Neoprene Hooded Jacket for Givenchy. The mixed-media piece features quilted neoprene panels, ribbed cuffs and hem, while supple lambskin leather is showcased on the jacket’s body and hood. Elsewhere, a bronze zip-up closure, two interior and exterior pockets and cotton lining round out this tonal exercise in texture. Alexander Wang Confirmed As Balenciaga’s New Creative Director

Renowned as a contemporary designer in his own right, New-York based Alexander Wang was recently the topic of discussions regarding the vacant role as creative director of BalenciagaConfirmed to succeed the outgoing Nicolas Ghesquière, there has been little word from both parties. Always interested in prodding the limits of fashion, Pierre Hardy releases his latest eye-catching silhouette with these “Cubicorama” sneakers. A master of bold, graphic aesthetics as well as sleek, almost architectural lines, Hardy updated the modern high-top sneaker with a medley of multicolored leathers and intriguing visuals — a blown-up cubic motif features on the lace covers while contrasting interior/exterior optical stripes are showcased on the shoe’s side panels. ADIDAS CONDUCTOR HI “DEFENSE” LAUNCH PARTY WITH JIM JONES

adidas Originals has teamed up with ATMOS to kickoff the release of the adidas Conductor Hi “Defense” on Friday, November 30. The shoe, made popular by Patrick Ewing, pays homage to New York basketball with the Knicks’ orange and blue highlighting the black high top constructed of tough material and reflective branding. Nike Air Force 1: 30 Years of Force Popsicle Mold

During tinkering phases in the development of Nike‘s Lunarlon sole, designers from Nike Innovation Kitchen increased stability in the mold by freezing it. After adjusting their approach to this new form of sneaker technology, the end result indicated that experimentation from the Beaverton camp was a key part of their innovative creations. While availability at a retail level may not be slated, Nike has commemorated one of the brand’s more surprising yet important research landmarks by immortalizing the iconic Air Force 1 sole in Popsicle form.

Japanese retailer atmos has teamed up with New Balance for the third in their “Face Off” series of collaborative shoes, this time reconsidering New Balance’s ever-popular CM996 model. For this rendition of the shoe, atmos took advantage of various materials that change colors when exposed to ultraviolet rays. The result is a variable palate of colors that force the wearer to observe the dual nature of things. Always conceptually strong, the shoe’s form is completed by custom-designed graphics on the tongue and insoles. Converse teams up with Hong Kong-based Subcrew to produce a special brick-red Chuck Taylor All-Star. In addition to the white rubber outsole and the matching red eyelets threaded with round laces, Subcrew’s logo appears near the hi-top’s heel. Easily the most distinguishing feature of these hi-tops is the Common Projects-esque code stamped as “23 1 20 19 3 2012″ on the tongue as well as inside the upper of the shoe.
