AM House is a residence recently completed by Drucker Arquitetura in San Paolo, Brazil. Most notable for its terraced design and use of large glass paneling, the structure is an airy exercise in minimalism and light. The centerpiece of the house is the living room — floor-to-ceiling doors open to a view of the key-shaped swimming pool and its lush surroundings, while double-height ceilings, copious amounts of natural light, and a connected dining area make the space ideal for entertaining guests. Elsewhere, the design’s themes of light, space and minimalism continue throughout the residence — “floating” staircases, wood and stone accents, and the repeated use of glass and sliding doors do their part to create a harmonious, serene setting for its owners |
