| Taking over from visvim designer Hiroki Nakamura, Christopher Raeburn is the latest designer to create a collection for Moncler. Known for his innovative use of military fabrics, Raeburn’s collection, entitled Moncler R, features a definite military aesthetic, particularly the color palette which features heavy hits of olive, khaki, black, and white. The collection also sees the unexpected pairing of traditional materials such as wool and closed-knit cotton with more technical fabrics usually seen from the outerwear brand. The British designer has managed to pick up right where the visvim designer left off, adding new twists and innovative fabrics to traditional Moncler silhouettes.
